100% Direct Help

We strictly separate expedition costs from donations. While Sven funds his tours from his own pocket or through sponsors, every euro donated goes 100% without deduction directly to the supported children's projects.

Our Cause

Our mission connects countries. We specifically support projects and institutions for children with cancer or other serious illnesses across Europe. Where the 2027 tour crosses eight nations, we leave traces of help and foster cross-border solidarity.

Our work is documented through international press coverage (among others Südkurier, LNC León, Basel Jetzt) and public handovers. Every project concludes with a transparent report and proof of how funds were used.

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Charity-Hiker e.V. is recognized as a non-profit registered association by the German tax authorities and is authorized to issue donation receipts. Contact us at contact@charity-hiker.com if you need a receipt.

Can I set up a recurring donation?
Currently only a one-time donation is possible via the buttons on this page. For recurring debits or larger amounts, please contact us directly.

Where exactly does my donation go?
Project-related donations go in full (1:1), without deduction, to the intended project. Administrative and travel costs are covered separately by membership fees and sponsors — never from project donations.

A European cause — every kilometer counts

Based on public statements from Peregrino & Charity-Hiker Sven, the motivation is clear: illness doesn't recognize borders, and neither should help. In his interviews, Sven repeatedly emphasizes that he walks across Europe as a "voice" to raise awareness for the plight of disadvantaged children, regardless of nationality.

The 2027 Three Kings Tour will cross ten European countries. The goal is to raise awareness in these regions of the needs of severely ill children and to financially strengthen local and international relief projects. Through close collaboration with Charity-Hiker e.V., administrative overhead stays minimal, and donor trust — from Santiago de Compostela to Cologne and on to Rome — remains the top priority.
