Mission 2027: the Three Kings Tour

One year. Ten countries. One mission. On 01/06/2027, Sven sets off on the "Three Kings Tour," a pilgrimage and charity hike through the heart of Europe, to change the lives of disadvantaged children.

A vast triangle between Europe's three holy cities. 365 days of walking through 10 countries, to shine a light on the plight of disadvantaged children.

365 days — 100% self-supported

A whole year stripped down to the essentials. Sven walks alone and fully self-supported, with his tent and a minimal budget, to focus all attention on the message.

1:1 Project Support

The tour generates project-related donations for children with cancer or other serious illnesses. Every euro donated goes without deduction directly toward follow-up care and support.

7,500 kilometers across 10 European countries. Every mile Sven walks alone under tent becomes, through your sponsorship, direct and transparent help for severely ill children.

Why the milestone model works

The emotional connection: what it feels like as a sponsor

Direct connection: you can see on our live map exactly when Sven crosses "your" kilometer. When Sven walks through Pyrenean rain or crosses the Alps, you know: this leg exists only because you carry it.

100% transparency: Charity-Hiker e.V. works voluntarily and independently. Sven covers all his personal expedition costs alone. Every cent of your kilometer sponsorship goes without deduction, one to one, toward recovery and psychosocial support for severely ill children.

Spain

From Galicia to the Pyrenees, Spain forms the emotional foundation as well as the solemn start and finish of the journey.

France

From the Pyrenees to Mont-Saint-Michel: a route that demands physical endurance and awakens a deep spirituality for our children's mission.

Belgium

Through medieval alleys and the green hills of Wallonia, the path leads to the heart of Europe to carry a strong message.

Netherlands

Under vast skies and along endless canals, the mission moves forward with every step toward Cologne.

Germany

Cologne is the symbolic heart of the tour, while Constance, on Lake Constance, opens the historic gateway to the Alps.

Switzerland

On the shores of Lake Constance, Switzerland links Germany and Austria, inviting a welcome pause along the way.

Austria

Steep peaks and warm hospitality mark this alpine leg, again testing the discipline gained at the North Cape.

Italy

From the arena of Verona to Tuscany, Italy combines ancient history with human warmth, driving this mission forward.

Vatican City

On the smallest territory in the world, our voice reaches the whole planet as we place the rights of the most vulnerable at the center, in front of St. Peter's Basilica.

Monaco

In the Principality of Monaco, endurance meets ambition, drawing attention on one of the most exclusive stages in the world.

The milestone timeline (the historic route)

January 2027 – Santiago de Compostela:
Departure on Epiphany.
Spring 2027 – Mont-Saint-Michel:
"The Wonder of the West" as a symbol of protection.
Summer 2027 – Cologne Cathedral:
Arrival at the shrine of the Three Kings, the heart of the tour.
Fall 2027 – Vatican City:
A global message for children's rights at the center of Rome.
Winter 2027 – Lourdes:
A light of healing and hope just before the return.
January 2028 – Santiago de Compostela:
The loop closes after exactly 365 days and 7,500 km.
