Volunteer-run: The association does not employ any paid staff. The board and everyone involved in the projects work 100% voluntarily. No salaries, expense allowances, or attendance fees are paid.

Structure: The association's income consists of:
- Pure, project-earmarked donations from individuals and companies.
- Regular membership and supporting membership fees, intended to cover the association's infrastructure.
- Logistical and material sponsorship, strictly earmarked for carrying out the tours.

Proof: The total of €16,066.52 raised as part of the North Cape project was passed on without any deduction. The funds were used, earmarked, for the interior fit-out of the newly built therapy center at the Katharinenhöhe rehabilitation clinic (a clinic specializing in pediatric oncology follow-up care in the Black Forest).

Independence: None. Charity-Hiker e.V. is legally, financially, and organizationally entirely independent. It is strictly separated from the commercial activities of founder Sven Hardt (such as his publishing house Zero-Point-Publishing or his mentoring business Plan-0). Funds from these ventures are pure, one-way donations.
